Many times the anime world is all about telling a story, but Get Amped 2 is a game that focuses more on the battle aspect. In fact, this is a game that was created with the sole idea of placing cute manga characters in a battle against each other in order to see which has the ultimate supremacy.
Right from the start the game comes with a very good tutorial that includes just about anything you might want, from stellar guidelines to a wide range of interesting ideas that you will enjoy. At the same time, the game is defined by some nicely implemented ideas such as wonderful rooms that you can modify and decorate in any way you want.
In order to do that though you will need to work hard in order to find in-game currency, and that is received during battles. Yet the great thing about the game is that it’s not focused mainly on battles, instead it allows you to experience other locations as well. It’s refined and filled with lots of cool challenges along the way, which is really neat.
You can interact with other players, talk with them and blacklist in order to obtain the best results, which is rather nice and exciting. There is a progression system, and with many characters to choose from, the title does bring in immense replayability, which is really neat to be honest. It could be a little more refined, true, but even as it stands, the game does an amazing job and you will love how open you will be to challenges that can be found along the way.
Battles on their own are not focused on button spamming like many are nowadays, instead a very good portion of them requires you to have a lot of fun and experience the game world unlike never before. It’s amazing to see how the ideas are blending in together so that they can form wonderful game world where challenges follow you at every corner.
Customization options are fine and really nice here, since you can easily add in new stuff on your character or decorate the room in any way you want. In fact, I feel that there are so many cool options to be had here that you will rarely have the opportunity to stop and enjoy the scenery, as you get a ton of nice stuff to do all the time.
Graphically, you get the cute anime style we know and love. The characters are nicely designed and the game world gives us a faux 3D that does work most of the time, although when you battle in the arenas it can be a little confusing in regards to the location of the enemy, especially if it flies.
There are many challenges and fun experiences to be had in Get Amped 2, and rest assured that you will love every moment. Just give this game a shot, you will end up being impressed with the multiple capabilities and fun ideas that you can find here, that’s for sure. Get Amped 2 Summary
