If you want to try being a Mafia crime lord without the risks and dangers, you should give Mafia Reloaded a try. In an age of Unity, cutting edge graphics and cinematic gameplay, this game is a breath of fresh and a touch of nostalgia. After all, it hearkens back to the early days of Facebook when games were text-based and you just have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks.
Don’t worry, it won’t cost you anything to become a Mafia lord in this game. It’s 100% for free, and you don’t even have to go through an initiation.
Don’t be surprised at the lack of a tutorial as well. You’ll find that the game is very easy to navigate. Everything you have to do is just at the click of a button.
At the task bar, you can find the tabs Fight, Jobs, Inventory and Assets.
Fight is the player versus player component of the game. In here, you’re given a list of players that you can fight with. Once you select a player, you can either choose to Attack him or her, or use a Power Attack that drains either your life or theirs. Attacking players require the consumption of Stamina, indicated by a cross hair symbol below your profile picture.
A simple attack will consume 1 Stamina, and the more devastating Power Attack consumes 5 Stamina.
You can choose to attack your opponents until their Health is depleted. However, bear in mind that they could get back at you as well.
Fighting opponents rewards you with experience points, and allows you to steal cash from their vaults. The same can also happen to you, that is why there is an option to Deposit your cash to the bank. This minimizes the amount of money your opponents can steal from you in a revenge attack.
To protect yourself, you can join a Gang. Gangs help in “revenge attacks.” If someone else kills you, you can get back at them together with your gang members. This is a tactic that people can use to kill and plunder other players.
If you don’t feel like fighting, you can choose to do Jobs instead. Just like Fights, Jobs can help you earn experience points and in-game cash as well.
Make sure to update yourself with your Daily Checklist of tasks so you can earn even more rewards.
