It’s important to make sure that you constantly have your defensive structures upgraded to the highest possible levels if you want to make sure that your base remains fortified against attacks. Whenever you level up in strategy games, new kinds of upgrades are unlocked and, out of these upgrades, it’s recommended that you go for the defensive upgrades before the economical ones. If you focus on economical upgrades at first, there’ll be a small window of time during which your base will be vulnerable and, during this time, enemies can have a significantly easier time invading your base. However, if you opt for defensive upgrades sooner, your economy might grow a bit slower but you’ll have the peace of mind that your base is fortified better against potential attacks.
